Arraigo socioformativo
The Arraigo socioformativo residence permit is suitable for nationals of non-EU countries who have been living in Spain for at least 2 years, do not have a valid TIE card at the time of application, and are planning to study in Spain.
This residence permit will enable you to work in Spain either as an employee or as a self-employed, but the total amount of your working hours must not exceed 30 hours a week.
Conditions for service provision:
- Lived in Spain for at least 2 years, proven by a historic registration certificate, and been outside Spain for no more than 90 days in total during that period.
- No valid residence permit at the time of application.
- Being enrolled, or planning to enroll, in a post-compulsory education course in Spain. Post-compulsory education refers to studies taken after the mandatory stage (ages 6–16). University programmes are not acceptable.
- For vocational training (formación profesional), enrolling in Level 1 is recommended, as Levels 2 and 3 generally require official recognition of previous studies by the Spanish authorities.
- The chosen course must include at least 50% offline classes and have a duration of no more than 3 years.
- Application must be submitted at least 2 months before the course start date, once the dates and the enrollment letter are available.
